A total of two kids with Down syndrome who participated the longest within the study selected from the study pool (11 kids) to be discussed in this technical report. The procedure discussed below and specified to each kid.

• Baseline phase lasted for 23 days. This phase included 1) monthly-standardized test administration: A researcher administered two standardized tests that evaluated general development of the kid. 2) Biweekly home visits by a researcher: The first 30 minutes included parents/guardians’ training on how the car works. Then the child was provided an opportunity to drive the car for up to 30 minutes while supervised by the researcher.
• At the age of 7 months and 27 days, the intervention phase began. It includes 5 assessments so far and the last assessment completed when the child was 12 months and 3 days. This phase included three parts: 1) Initial visit: ensure that the parent(s)/guardian(s) are well trained to keep the car at their home and provide daily usage of car for the kid. 2) Daily training: guardians were asked to provide car for their child for at least 30 minutes per day and complete the “ Supervising Adult Log Sheet”. 3) Ongoing assessment through standardized tests and video recording: for this part there was a monthly-standardized test that measured general development. Additionally, there was Bi-Weekly home visits by researcher. The researcher directly supervised a 30 minutes car drive and then continued to provide parents with more strategies to demonstrate fun activities for the child when he/she is driving the
