Buck's Loss In The Call Of The Wild

Losing loved ones can be very hard on you, but you have to persevere to climb over that dark mountain of depression to move on with your life and be able to enjoy it. In Call of the Wild, Buck is taken away from his owner and the person he loved most is killed. This causes Buck to lose everything he cared about and learn to move on quickly. In contrast, my mom lost both of her parents at age thirteen and she slowly accepted the fact and she needed more time to persevere through the hardships. Even though Buck and my mom dealt with their situations differently, they both lost people important to them. In reality, you deal with things in your own way and on your own time. You have to persevere to push through to darkness to be able to be happy again. Buck was filled with anger pain and longing so he took his anger out on the people who killed John. My mom was angry that this happened to her, so she took her anger out on her aunt. She got in many arguments with her and was disrespectful to her. Buck and my mom both tried different things to try and take away the pain. Buck went wandering while my mom was always with friends and never really in the house. They both tried to deny the fact that the people they loved were gone.
