We even have heard stories, epics, and histories depicting the desire to fly liberally in the open sky. This longing led number of people to try to fly with manmade feathers engraved within them, the result of which was nothing but failure. With invent of successful flight in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina by Wright Brothers', the beginning of the aviation industry was marked. But the development of the aviation industry was first stimulated when United States' participated in World War I. In the early years, the public did not embrace airplane travel as an option perceiving that it was too dangerous. In 1927, when Charles Lindbergh successfully completed a solo flight across the Atlantic Ocean, it created massive interest in flying with the general public. This was the instigation point when a variety of air transport holding companies began which included Aviation Corporation. With United States' entry into World War II, commercial fleets and pilots were sent to Europe to participate in the war effort.
