1. As you reflect back on this budgeting assignment, what are the most personally important facts or concepts you learned?
I learned that If I be a full time student and have a good GPA point, I’ll be able to save more money and to take advantages of financial aids and scholarships. Also, another good thing as being a full time is that I will finish the degree much faster. I also learned about all types of loans and the interest I have to pay. Some of loans I don’t have to pay when my courses start but after 6 months I finish my school. This helps to save money and achieve my goals.
2.How does what you learned or realized relate to or impact your personal, educational, and career goals?
Education is very important, but also the budget is important too. What I realized is that we can’t avoid student loans, but also I need to learn how not to get over budget, and later on will be difficult to pay the student loans. The best way to avoid paying a large amount of student loans is by getting as much as we can Pell grants and scholarships.
3.Do you feel prepared to enter student loan repayment and understand how to get started?
I had student loan before and I feel prepared and good to repay my loans in the future. The key to repay the loans is by saving money throughout the school and when the loan start, we should pay more the minimum is requested. I save years but most important I save money by finishing early because student loans have a high interest.
4. What money-related questions do you still have? How will you get the answers you need?
At the moment I have no question money related. However, if I have any question I could reach out to my financial advisor or I could go to the website FAFSA.edu and get all my answers and my concerns about my financial.
5. How will you apply the lessons of this activity to your own life?
The lesson that I learned is that I have to pay my loans like: student loan, mortgage, cars or any
