Bundle Of Joy-Michael Giacchino: Song Analysis
Introduction: I named my album Oasis, because in life, there are periods of time that feel like navigating a jungle. Friends, and family can help you find an oasis. They can help you see the glittering water in every dark cave. I choose songs that represent my life, in order of events or ideas that have impacted me. These are songs that I feel emotionally connected to. They represent getting to, or being at, the happiest points in my life. Song 1: Bundle of Joy- Michael Giacchino. This song represents the first year(s) of my life, generally the pre-school years. I remember spending time with family, and problems where so miniscule. Bundle of Joy is a very calming song. The first years of my life where peaceful and harmonic. I remember fostering

The cat Jasper is a male cat that was given an over-the-counter analgesic which had caused him to keep getting sicker. He is one years old and weighs seven pounds, five ounces. His symptoms included vomiting and having diarrhea for several days. His lab tests showed a metabolic acidosis meaning there was too much acid in his body fluid. This meant Jasper could have been given acetaminophen, aspirin, or ibuprofen. To identify what analgesic Jasper was given we took samples of the different analgesics and crushed them. We used a melting point apparatus to find out what the melting point was and matched it with acetaminophen, aspirin, or ibuprofen. Then we used the Infrared Spectroscopy to determine the function group of the molecules to help us identify which analgesic was used. Between the symptoms, melting point, and results of the infrared spectroscopy we were able to identify what analgesic Jasper ingested.…

During Oakdale High Schools winter concert I performed the song “Mary, Did You Know?” in a small ensemble with Patrick McFarland on trumpet, Zach Kemp on mellophone, and Bryce Krasauskis on trombone. The arrangment we did was Pentatonix’s version of the song. “Mary, Did You Know?” was originally written by Mark Lowery and the music composed by Buddy Green in 1991. The song was then released, sung by Micheal English, on the album Micheal English.…

I listened to the Latin American praise song “Te Doy Gloria” and I listened to the Christian praise song “endless praise” by Planetshakers. “Te Doy Gloria” message was giving Jesus the glory and just magnifying how wonderful Jesus is. The song Endless Praise by Planetshakers has a similar message, also singing to glorify Jesus and how we should praise him continually. Both of these songs are glorifying Jesus and the importance of how we should lift the name of Jesus on high. Also, both songs proclaim the beauty and wonder of Jesus but do this in different ways. Although, after listening to both a couple of times I still like the song “endless praise” the most. The reason I like this song better is because it goes more in depth about Jesus and…

They all symbolize time moving by with nature. This is giving the readers a theme, nature always has to do with the cycle of life, so when repeated, it is as time moves on people live and die, which brings us to another possible theme of love/life/death, The phrase “with up so floating many bells down” (2, 24) is repeated twice. At first it is difficult to figure out what “bells” mean, later I figured out that they represent Anyone and Noone’s wedding and, also later their funerals. They found love and then they both died. The other people in the town went on to live their life that never goes anywhere, they do not remember Anyone or Noone, because nothing matters to them.…

The first song that I thought of when reading this assignment was Fortunate Son, by Creedence Clearwater Revival. The song was released in 1969, during the time in which America was involved in the Vietnam war. The song was created as an anti-war protest, released when Americans began to realize what a horrible mistake it was to become involved in the Vietnam War. The song talks abut the differences between the "fortunate" sons and "unfortunate" sons of America, better known as the wealthy and the poor.…

The Prices and Incomes Accord was an agreement between the Australian Council of Trade Unions and the Australian Labor Party government in1983. The Accord developed at a time when the only response to inflation appeared to be to slow down the economy. Employers were not party to the Accord. Unions agreed to restrict wage demands and the government pledged to minimize inflation. The government was also to act on the social wage. At its broadest this concept included increased spending on education as well as welfare. This was seen as a method to reduce inflation without reducing the living standards of Australians. At the beginning of the Accord, only one union, voted against the Accord. The Accord continued for the whole period of the Labor government through seven stages including, after 1993, enterprise bargaining.…

Number ten: “In The Aeroplane Over The Sea” by Neutral Milk Hotel. I adore the soft indie vibe that Neutral Milk Hotel has. They create the kind of songs that people listen to laying under the stars reminiscing on lost love and old friends. “In The Aeroplane Over The Sea” is about life and how short it is, and how we need to appreciate the beautiful things before it’s too late. “…and one day we will die and our ashes will fly from the aeroplane over the sea, but for now we are young let us lay in the sun and count every beautiful thing we can see.…

Miguel Primentel, a R&B and soul artist, was a breath of fresh air to the R&B game in the 2010-2013 time frame. The Ballad “Candles in the Sun” was a simple, yet powerful song with a very nice message. This song was released on his second studio album Kaleidoscope Dream on September 25, 2012. Candles in the sun didn’t chart because wasn’t a single, but the album was number three on the Billboard 200 (Wikipedia 2016). “I wanted to create a song and visual that addressed my everyday concerns of life” (Miguel 2013) The song was very repetitive but had an amazing message. The song was to make you think and call to attention to the problems of the world. During 2011 and 2012 there were conflicts in the middle east, many countries had political…

I moved into my home when I was about 4. They house we used to live in was going to be too small once me and my sister, Mira, got older. I was very sad that we were leaving the house I had lived in my whole life. I had many fond memories for it, such as my dad building a playing structure for me and my sister. I remember thinking that I had a say in which house we were going to buy, and I thought that I had a part in making such an important decision, which I know now is preposterous, but I felt proud to be making choices. I remember missing my old house, with the play house that my dad made, and the stairs up to my bedroom, which seemed so tall. This new house had no stairs. I remember meeting our new neighbors, Manny, who really like vintage pinball machines…

Neighborhoods throughout the world are constantly undergoing different changes especially in major cities. Some of these changes can either make a neighborhood or break a neighborhood. A particular community that was brought to my attention while I was doing my sociological research that has drastically changed within the last few years is Bedford–Stuyvesant. A big factor that has lead to this historical community undergoing change is Gentrification. Gentrification has had many positive affects on Bedford–Stuyvesant and has also taken a few negative tolls to this community as well. Bedford-Stuyvesant was exclaimed to be in the top-25 fastest-gentrifying neighborhoods according to Census data. This community is ranked number…
