Welcome!
* Good afternoon! On behalf of Off-Campus Student Services and New Student Programs, I’d like to welcome you to Towson University. We’re excited you’ve decided to join the Towson family! * On today’s tour, you’ll see the area surrounding the university, as well as a few options for off-campus housing. We’re taking paths similar to those used by the TU shuttle that transports students around campus and to and from selected communities. We hope you come away from this tour with new facts you’ll find helpful during your transition. * If, at any point, you have questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. Let’s get started…
Route B
TU to Fairways: York Road to Burke to Putty Hill to Goucher * One of the first things you’ll see on this tour is on your right hand side, one of the many off campus apartment options. Towson Place is a favorite of many students due to its close proximity to campus. You are always right across the street and a short walk to everything Towson’s Campus has to offer. These apartments offer up to 3 bedrooms. * As we turn off Cross Campus Drive, Bill Batemans is on your left. They have weekly wing nights and have the best wings in town! This is a popular location for students to visit to watch any and every game they could think of! It also has the added bonus of being walking distance to many of the on and off campus living apartments and dorms. * On your left you will see Stephens Hall, the business building on campus. * Continuing down York Road, on the left hand side is Cardiff Hall. Cardiff offers one bedroom, two bed room or one bedroom and a den, which many students use for three roommates having two shares the very large room. This is a great way to keep your rent down! * Down East Burke on your right you will see Donnybrook apartments. These are available in one, two or three bedroom apartments. * As we turn right onto Goucher Blvd, please take notice of
