Interesting that you noted that CarMax should own its own used car retail establishment, rather than continue to buy-buy and lease-back properties. For the most part, I can see why CarMax would buy-back and lease-back property when it first entered in the used car industry. Maybe CarMax believed that it would be cost efficient to buy-back and lease-back property. However, now that CarMax is America's number one used car retailer, I agree with you that the used car retailer should capitalize on establishing its own buildings, repair and refurnishing car shops, CarMax would not have to rely heavily on other companies manufacturing equipment.
