Mike’s career started when he finished high school here in Marathon. Once finishing high school, he attended North Central Technical Institute to take agriculture mechanics’ classes. After attending NTCI, he joined the U.S. Army’s wheeled vehicle school and electronic repair classes. Once completing the classes he became enlisted into the military as a mechanic and traveled around the world fixing Army machinery. After serving in the Army, he decided to go back to school for business. He attended night school through Mount Senario College in Ladysmith for different classes for business administration through to mid 1980’s.
