An example of a local business is newsagents, charity shop, local council and local garage. These businesses are in a local area and only have one location which is in the local area.
An example of a national business is, national lottery, cancer research, ASDA and the British heart foundation, national businesses have locations all around the country and not just in one local area.
An example of an international business is, Audi,BMW, united nations and Tesco. These companies have locations all around the world and not just in one country, but they don’t have locations in every country in the world.
Global is the biggest rang of business there is, This includes Nike, Coca-Cola and McDonalds. These companies have trade all around the world and have trade/ have shops in nearly every country in the world and you see their products in nearly every country in the world.

Primary sector is acquiring raw materials examples of these are, fishing, mining, drilling for oil and farming. This can also be called extractive production.
Secondary sector are the manufacturing and assembling process, it involves changing raw materials into components. These are things like changing oil into plastic and building bricks, houses and roads.
Tertiary sectors these are commercial services and they support production and distribution, they are things such as insurance, advertising and warehousing.
