House cleaning service (Just call us, we come)
I was student of IBA, I’d liked to study here because I really want to know about business, and then now on this assignment I will make my own business idea. The business that I think is good for many people is cleaning service. I choose this business because I think we don’t have it in Manado and I think this service could help the people especially the family, and the profit I think it later can be high and higher. This cleaning service is not like what we imagine (the cleaning service in the office or school, etc) but this cleaning service is different. This is required for families, they can rent us the cleaning service to clean house or whatever they want by calling and then we will come to clean what the costumers need. I think this kind of business services not available in Manado and I think it will be a successful business, why? Because I see many housewife or family didn’t want to use a helper anymore because they can’t be trusted and their attitude sometimes become so bad also the salary is higher. We can say that our service have a reasonable price, and our service can be trusted for sure 100%.
This cleaning service is a residential house cleaning service serving upper-class families. Through generous human capital investments, this service will exceed our customer's expectations. We will be servicing the wealthy single-income households and affluent two-income households. These targeted families will be willing to pay a premium for our service because of the high level of professionalism and trustworthiness that we offer, not replicated by any of our competition. The goals I think that can help us to arrange this kind of business is to create a service based company whose #1 goal is exceeding customers’ expectations, to increase our number clients served by 20% per year through superior service, to

An inventor named Will Bury who whole-heartedly believes that readers of all ages will be listening or reading books on digital devices. The transition from hard copy books could be an invention that changes how the people of the world purchase these types of goods. Bury is aware that currently, these same books are available on compact discs, but he believes that these are an expensive purchase for consumers. He also believes that costs can be cut by having the digital device translate the books instead of having to hire humans to translate the book to a compact disc. The only thing that may cause some conflict in his idea is that when a digital device translates a book, it could sound digitized and readers or listeners may not adapt to the sound as easily as a human voice. Bury has thought this process through and has invented and patented technology that allows the digital device to take the printed text and develop a file that has an option for the reader to listen to a digital voice or listen to a synthetic human voice.…

BY: EE FOOK MING DATE: 4 NOV 2012 EMAIL: FOOKMING_EE@YAHOO.COM INTRODUCTION This is an integrated solution that comprises of the following functional components: § Virtual Set-top Box (STB) and virtual residential gateway § Over-the-top video solutions § Over private/public cloud To provide a flexible, personalized, multi-screen with quality of experience for pay TV customers. CUSTOMERS Traditionally, the pay TV market is being monopolized by the cable and satellite (DTH) pay TV operators. In the recent years, as the media and telecommunication industry are converging, many telecom operators are rolling out their pay TV equivalent services through their broadband infrastructure such as xDSL and FTTH. These are the target customers, both the Pay TV broadcasters and telecom operators, which the solutions are intended for. The solutions can be extended for Pay TV startup. VALUE PROPOSITIONS The traditional Pay TV solutions are rigid, based on old technology, nonstandard and fragmented, required expensive capital invested (for startup) and equally expensive OPEX to cover license fees, professional services and support and maintenance. The proposed integrated solutions addressed the following: § It reduces tremendously the CAPEX investment required for the infrastructure, hardware and software and the back office required to operate the pay TV systems. It based on the hosted and media cloud, typically managed services model. § Set-top box is the largest hurdle in most of the pay TV business case. It is a very expensive component in the CAPEX investment that crumbles most pay TV business case. Moving from physical STB to virtual STB would immediately remove the upfront STB investment. § Virtual STB as it is in the cloud would remove the inconvenience of software support and upgrade, in addition they are expensive for the subscribers that are charged to them in the form of maintenance & support and software fees. § The implementation and technology deployed are…
