The college managers will want to get data that is accurate. The information’s accuracy can checked by things such as calculators or by other means. Another way of making sure the data is accurate is to do things like Double checking the data or getting someone else to also look at the data. One benefit of a information system is that they are easy and quick to use even though they are quite complex programs.
Sustainability
The college managers will also want data that has sustainability. The data needs to be sustainable. This means that the all the outputs from the information system needs to be correct

Some Business are entirely internet based such as ebay. They do this by creating a shop online which lets people buy products over the internet. The internet is a very useful tool to the college and businesses because it can help them expand and it will also help to increase the number of customers/people.
Data mining systems
Data mining systems are a very useful tool to business although they are similar to Ai and expert systems these systems are used to detect patterns. This can be used in shops because they can see what certain products are more popular on certain days or weeks. Data mining systems can also be used to sort information into certain categories. This makes things a whole lot easier for the user and makes the system more user friendly.
Information reports
Almost all the time information is displayed as a report. There are many different types of reports such as sales reports. Sales reports in business are very regular and are usually produced at then end of every week, month and year and it holds information of what products the business and sold. This information is the basis of what decisions are made within a business such as what staff is needed or how much stock there
