“Young leaders are know-it-all show-offs who fail to respect their seniors and lack the knowledge and experience to lead the organization”. Keeping in line with the above statement, differentiate between management and leadership.
The difference between management and leadership is the way that managers and leaders motivate the people who work or follow them, and this sets the tone for most other aspects of what they do. Management budgets where leadership sets a vision.
Management organises staff, where leadership aligns people. Management is controlling and problem solving, where leadership motivates people. Managers have subordinates where leaders have followers. A manager asks how and when, while a leader will ask what and why, which can make a young leader seem to lack knowledge and experience. A manager accepts the status quo, where a leader will again challenge it, which could also make them look like know-it-all show-offs.
