It’s increase in popularity is due to a number of factors; tourists becoming increasingly bored of the typical sun, sea and sand holiday’s, the increase in global awareness or environmental issues such as global warming, deforestation and conservation efforts.…

Sustainable Tourism is essentially an industry committed to making a low impact on the natural environment and local culture, while helping to generate income and employment for local people. As Global economists forecast continuing international tourism growth, this continuous growth will place great stress on remaining biologically diverse habitats and indigenous cultures, which are often used to support mass tourism. Therefore it is important that sustainable tourism is promoted and that people are educated about the opportunities provided in order to minimize the effects that tourism poses on the natural environment while helping to benefit local communities.…

The first reason why I recommend Miyako Island is that it’s an amazing place for its unique culture. For example, dialects are one of that. Each village in the island has their own dialects that are really different from Japanese. Did you know the name of the island, “Miyako” is also one of their dialects? It means “a place for people to live”. And also, Miyako islanders have a wonderful spirit called in their dialects “Ichabari-cho-de” that means “once we meet, we’ll be brothers”. People in that island are very warmhearted, so your contact with the local people will make your vacation more joyful and memorable. As another example, there is an interesting traditional event called “Pantuu”. In October, selected three young men disguise themselves in monsters called Pantuu, covered with mud and leaves, wearing scary masks and holding canes. They are said to take away evil spirits and bring in good fortune to the villages by putting mud on people, houses and whatever. Even tourists may be chased after by the monsters, so you must be careful!!…

Maldives posses a unique model of the island development, which in terms is explained by the nature, bases tropical atolls and islands, which make up the whole Maldives. In developing physical evidence of a destination, it is also important to define the spatial layout of the destination. This fact contributes to the strength of the country. Maldives resorts structure and set up are simple yet very eye-catching. This is due to the face that the resorts are located at different small islands and the bungalows are build on the water where retrieving the beach and the seawater would be just stepping out of the bungalow. Another distinctive factor of Maldives is that there is no visa required for international guests, which has become the most significant…
