Tena Traders is involved in transport services provision as well as distribution of commodities.
It is a sole proprietorship.
The company specializes in clearing and forwarding of both Air and Sea cargo and consolidated goods ranging from household goods, mercantile and diplomatic mails to contract shipments, Less Container (LCL) shipments and Full container (FCL) shipments from around the world to Kenya.

SECTION A – SERVICES REQUIRED: CONCESSION ON FEES VIDE DOCUMENTARY COLLECTION).
The above A/C holder plans to import Rice worth USD 1,750,000. (Also expecting 312 & 539 M/T from M/S Rice International (Private) Limited @ USD 150,930 and USD 259,200 respectively from Pakistan & several other consignments of similar nature.

To this end he would like to book Documents for Collection using GAB. Our flat fees for this transaction are Kes. 75,000/- per quarter.

The client has been routing this business through BBK and through marketing initiative we have managed to entice him to give GAB a try. BBK levy a flat fee of 0.2% of the amount as their fees and the client would like us to at least match this offer and with increased volumes of business we consider lowering the fee ultimately to around 0.15%.

The clients A/C's are well operated and have annual turnovers of Kes. 63M and USD 190K
