North Coastal Region of San Diego County
The North Coastal Region (NCR) of San Diego County is a large diverse region within San Diego County. It spans 388 square miles. There are six cities and more than a dozen communities in this region ranging from wealthy areas to poorer areas both on the coast and inland. The US Marine Corps largest installation, Camp Pendleton, is located within this region. The NCR has two acute care hospitals (one community, one military) with emergency departments, seven home health agencies, three hospice facilities, 12 skilled nursing facilities, 15 community clinics, and four dialysis clinics. …show more content…
