CAUTI Training Plan

The estimated timeline to implement the project from start to finish would be two months. A meeting with the unit educator would take place to work on the education presentation. The nurse champions would be educated on their role and what is expected of them. Then the meeting schedule will be set up for clinical staff to attend. The CAUTI education and training will include a skills check off, expanding their knowledge on CAUTIs, and improving outcomes. CAUTI information will also be sent out through email along with the program information, updates will be given during safety huddle, and information posted in the breakroom. After the completion of the CAUTI education and training, the program will be rolled out.
