CPA Argumentative Essay
If I were getting my CPA license in Wisconsin, I must complete several procedures and meet the licensing requirements of the State of Wisconsin. After obtaining the education requirements, which includes completing 150 semester hours and graduating with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, I will began the process of taking the Uniform CPA Exam. After the exam I will move forward in the process of obtaining my CPA license by meeting requirements set by the state of Wisconsin. I will first need to apply through CPA Examination Services by completing the application and sending all required documents to the Wisconsin Coordinator at CPA Examination Services in Nashville, TN. Applying can be done online or via mail. Required documents with the signed application include official transcripts from my university, and a request form for any ADA modifications that may be necessary for myself to take the Uniform CPA Exam. After sending all required documents, I must wait for my Notification to Schedule (NTS) letter to arrive from …show more content…
I will need to complete the Application for Certified Public Accountant Credential Form along with all supporting documents. In addition to the application, I will need to send the Convictions and Pending Charges disclosure form, the Personal Chronological Resume of Accounting Experience form, the Verification of Employment and Experience Evaluation form, my official transcripts, and $175 for the application and state ethics test. Following this step, I will take and pass the Wisconsin Online Ethics exam. After passing the ethics exam, I will have to wait through the review process before receiving my CPA license and becoming a Certified Public Accountant
