CW3 Gannon Case Study
During CW3 Gannon’s tenure in Echo company, he served as the section leader in one of the 3 largest A/L/M sections on Fort Rucker comprised of 10 UH-60A/L and 12 UH-60M IP’s. The careless efforts of CW3 Gannon directly impacted the United States Army by qualifying over 500 combat ready aviators within in the sections combined. His exceptional performance as a Section Leader within Echo Company has been a critical component in sustaining 90 aircraft per week in order to train the 36 students currently assigned to 2nd Platoon.

CW3 Gannon has been recognized as a top performer on all end of course critics for his flight instruction, and furthermore was recognized as the Fort Rucker Instructor Pilot of the Quarter and Instructor Pilot of the Year (FY16). CW3 Gannon’s tireless work ethic and dedication to duty has enabled him to successfully forecast personnel and equipment which were instrumental in the development of Echo Company’s first UH-60M section. He meticulously managed aircraft daily, by flawlessly allocating resources that totaled over $24,334,080 per year.
