Good morning ladies and gentlemen, and thank you for being here. My name is Melanie
Medina I am here to represent Rahmun in this case before you today. My client should be given a light sentence.
To begin, Rahmun isn’t an evil person. This is clearly displayed through his recent interactions with a young female named Mini. He has cared for her and formed a heartwarming relationship with this girl as if it were his own daughter and taking him away from her would be the real crime. He’s already away from his family who he’s trying to support by selling goods and imprisoning him for longer than necessary would be unjust to that family. Would it really be fair to take him away from this little girl that he’s grown so close to which would leave her heartbroken, and his family which would leave a poor woman to raise a young child on her own?
Rahmun is a kind and selfless man. For example, he displays a fatherly kindness towards
Mini and also offers goods to her that can be sold for a profit instead. He does this from the pureness of his heart. He also knows that his recent actions wrong, however he was worried about getting cheated out of justice. He saw vigilantism as his only option due to the discrimination there as well. His intentions weren’t to murder out of hate, but to take the actions in which he deemed suitable for his stolen goods.

The youngest daughter did what a lot of people may say is ethically and morally wrong by having a relationship with her co-workers ex-boyfriend. Personally, I feel as though the co-worker was just stringing him a long and Jia Vig did not know that her co-worker/friend actually loved him. It also presents the topic of social distance. Is it okay to date a co-worker's ex but not a friend's? I believe that it is, but this situation was different because they were not only co-workers, but also friends. However, I do not think what she did was ethically wrong or manipulating. She did not know that her co-worker loved him and she believed that she was helping this boy out by befriending him; she just happened to also fall in love with him. In the end, you can not help who you…
