On the mind of the Calaveras players was whether or not thier season would continue after Tuesday's game. With the talk of sports being postponed or cancled due to a possible teacher's strike, there were a number of issues weighing on the players.

Jenna Brotherton had 15 kills and one ace.
Tanner Pemberton had 12 kills and two aces. Sierra Hedstrom had four blocks and one kill. Sierra Reusche had two kills and two blocks. Anna Allain had two kills. Breanna McDuffie and Corina Mata each recorded one kill. Jessica Schumann had a team-high 31 assists and two kills. And freshman Angelina DeLeon had 17 assists.
"The Linden team has definitely upped their game by utilizing their middles more," DiBasilio said. "But like I said, my girls played even though the they like the had been punched in the gut. I'm proud of every one of them. It's an amazing group of young ladies."
Calaveras (9-8, 6-4 Mother Lode League) will host Summerville at 6 p.m., Thursday in San Andreas for senior night.
Junior Varsity
The Calaveras JV team took care of Linden in two sets, winning 25-17 and 25-18, Tuesday night in Linden.
Keelie Koepp served 11 for 11 with three aces and was 10 for 11 on serve receive. Sam Gleason served 10 for 10 with four aces. Kyllie Remus had 11 assists and two aces. Nikki Bell had four kills. Gabriella Malamed had three kills and Mariana Airola had three kills.
Freshmen
Calaveras' freshmen team made quick work of Linden, defeating the Lions 25-11 and
25-13.
Zoe Stockdale had two kills and one ace. Macey Buescher had one kill and one ace. Alicia Torales, Anna Long and Savannah Steel each rerecorded one kill. Anna Evans had one ace and Ashlyn Brim and Alyssa Wyllie had three aces each.
