Calpurnia Poem Analysis

When she is around whites. What I mean by that is: she is very formal,proper, she uses bigger words when she is talking to them, she uses "nothing" instead of "nothin`" and she is very well put together when she is with whites.On the other hand, when she is with the blacks: she is informal,uses lower vocabulary and acts like we would act around her friends. you could say she takes off her "mask" when she is around blacks.In conclusion her attitude is the same she is straight forward and will tell you like it is this is similar to the poem because it is all about wearing a mask in front of other people.With the poem and chapter 12 there are very similar. you could say that Calpurnia wears a "mask" by being formal around whites, informal around
