Chapter I - Introduction
Project Context Nowadays, technology is evolving in such speed and enhancing the way people lives. Different systems are developed to meet the need and requirements of the people. Android OS has been developed. And now the internet determines that the most dominant player with 81.9% of the market is Android. Most of us use Android phones and tablets because of its compatibility to run different applications.
We, IT students would like to guide those incoming students and visitors of Tarlac State University to tour them in the whole campus; we’ve conducted an android application namely, “CampuSeek”. It will serve as a very useful tool to present the different buildings of TSU. This project is a platform independent unlike the other e-tour system which you are required to go to the place, in order for you to utilize their system. Its portability allows you to use it anytime, anywhere.
As a new student or a visitor in a University, you’ll be having a hard time looking for the room or facilities going to. It’ll be a big help to have this application, it will give instruction and information to those students, visitors and transferees. Making this possible, it will lessen the difficulty and the time consumed of every human being. This application allows you to familiarize with the campus by exploring it.
This application will show you how to get to the place you want to be. It also allows you to freely explore the buildings different colleges. Information of the rooms will also be included in this application whether it’s a classroom, office, lab, and etc. CampuSeek will serve as an advance way of path determination and giving a broad view of the campus.
