I once was a leader for one of the teams when I was a part of the Promise Welfare Society. As a leader in the society, I took my group on a tour around the camping place and helped them build their tents. One of the obstacles we went through was in a competition against the other teams that joined the society. In the competition, my team started to make mistakes and they got distracted, but I was able to get their attention back by keeping them calm so each one of them could finish their part in the…

Teamwork was a part of my undergraduate degree. A specific example of a teamwork challenge that I faced was the annual robotic competition. The team was polarized on the subject of the mechanism design. Given time and resource constraints it would not have been possible to allow sub groups to pursue individual projects. The problem was eventually resolved by adopting a design in line with the project objects and which was realizable within the limited time period with budget. As a team leader I filled in the role of a facilitator and kept the team on track in meeting the deliverables. I also ensured that each member got a fair share of participation and could contribute equally since the project was crucial for every engineering student and each of us was there to learn. The effort was successful as the team emerged the 5th best team amongst 50 other participating teams.…

People from different parts of the world have been migrating to the United States for hundreds of years. During the 1920s and 1950s, there was a huge wave of Italian immigrants voyaging to our country. More than four million Italians had left their country and traveled by boat for seven dreadful, agonizing days before arriving in America. Travelers took their first steps on U.S. soil in Ellis Island, the federal immigration station, where Italians had to pass medical and legal inspections before being allowed to enter the United States. This dramatic surge in immigration was brought upon by Italians desperately trying to escape their poverty-stricken lives in pursuit of the American Dream. Upon arriving to America, Italians hoped for better lives with more job opportunities and better education.…

This piece of evidence is community interview paper. I was required to find an agency that serves individuals and interview the person in charge regarding the service they provide to individual with disabilities. Questions included in the interview consist of “what type of agency is it”, “what interaction does the agency have with schools, youth, families”, “what services does the agency provide”, “eligibility requirements for the services”, etc. After completing the interview, I created a Smore Flyer to advertise the information acquired. The Smore Flyer is an example of an advertisement that I could offer parents/guardians to learn about transitional agencies available in the area. I completed my interview on Project SEARCH, an internship program for young adults with disabilities. The Smore Flyer and interview were created and adapted to meet the assignment requirements for my Career, Vocational, and Community Education for Youth with Exceptional Needs course (Education 368).…

Based on the information given I see this as an act of terrorism because of where the explosion went off. Any explosion on a military base cannot be defined as a terrorist attack versus just an attack. In this case attacking the community center means you are looking at killing not just members of the U.S. military but also the families that reside there. Not knowing the history of the militants in Flooa and neither how they classify themselves you would not want to immediately put the stamp of terrorism on any explosive activity. With the area being attacked and the civilian community targeted just as much as the military I definitely qualify this as terrorism.…
