Abstract
Probably, internet is one of the easy ways to access and gain huge amount of information in no time. It provides almost everything that everyone needs. In today’s era, the traditional method and process of recruitment was innovated and revolutionized by the power of the internet. We call this as the e-Recruitment, or commonly known as Online Recruitment Management System. This kind of system can solve and improve the problems of the manual and traditional recruitment process. Like for example, it lessens the cost and time of hiring employees and it can give the organization the opportunity to have lots of applicants that is most suitable for a job vacancy. Almost all of the organizations nowadays, regardless if it is a large organization or a small one, uses this kind of system because of the benefits and features it can give. Aside from that, it can also help them to gain competitive advantage in the fast-pacing field of industry.
In this study, the proponents aimed to develop an Online Recruitment Management System for Lyceum of the Philippines University – Cavite Campus. The purpose of this is to give them a new environment in recruiting employees through the use of internet.
