Threats: New Swedish educational regulations, high interest rates, decreasing customer base. Explorius has a lot of opportunities, but what make Explorius strong at the same time make it weak. Over the years, racial stereotypes have evolved from being offensive preconceptions regarding race to be humorous generalizations. They now serve as a source of entertainment in movies, TV shows, and other forms of media. By presenting these stereotypes as entertaining elements in popular media they shed light on real racial problems in our society today in an unaggressive manner. In Guess Who (2005) Percy Jones and Simon Green’s dysfunctional relationship is used to identify the underlying racial tensions between African American’s and Caucasians, including the issues about employment, physical characteristics, and lifestyle choices; Simultaneously, director Kevin Sullivan sends the message that the issues presented in the movie are not specific to one race, but rather to our society as a whole.…

My academic goal management plan that I set for my English 111 class has been a benefit for my grade and myself. Before I set the goal of pushing out an A for English 111, I had a C in the class. I still do not have an A yet I have a B, but it is progress. I also set a goal that requires me to accomplish a 4.00 “GPA” by the end of the semester. I am not there yet, but I am getting close as I approach the end of the semester. Goal setting has impacted my English grade, because it gave me a sense of urgency. Goal setting kept me focus on the big picture, which was to complete this semester, ending with all A’s. Goal setting also steered me down the rights paths; like a “GPS” system, it made sure that I did not…

As I looked back at the writing pieces I created in ninth grade, with misplaced commas and awkward wording, all I can think of is how different my writing is today. The poem I wrote was created as a way to track and remember the changes I encountered each year.…
