Executive Summary As we are living in a modern world, we feel the need of some aristocratic facilities with us. As a result, whenever we have programs or any festival, we are to look for a modern and aristocratic restaurant, where we can get quality food and environment. That’s why to meet the demand of people; Defense Ministry founded Captain’s World. Captain’s World gives us better food and party or festive environment where we can go with friends and family. It has a great system of controlling it. All the workers work here get working-environment and serve the people with their supreme capability. Captain’s World has three outlets in Dhaka and it is trying to expand its business over the country. To earn profit is not the only purpose of its business; its main purpose is to serve the people. Captain’s World has corporate mission and vision. One very important and mentionable thing is that it is working for the society, because it has come up with some corporate social responsibilities. In this project we include all the things in brief. Captain’s World’s managerial functions are so strict and orderly. The managerial functions always lead it to innovation. Captain’s World is balancing its effectiveness and efficiency very successfully. Though it is facing competition with others, but it is keeping its quality and environment as they were before. In this project we have come up with a brief description of all the managerial functions of Captain’s World.
Company Overview
“Captain’s world” is a sister concern of ‘Canteen Store Department ‘of Defense Ministry founded back in 2007. This is a very quiet, decent, luxurious bakery and fast-food restaurant situated in Dhaka. Up to 2011 it has only one outlet that is situated at ‘Jahangir Gate’ of Dhaka Cantonment. At present there are three outlets of this fast-food restaurant in Dhaka. Another two is at Dhanmondi and Uttara. Captain’s World is now employs around 200 people at 3 outlets in
