Team Work, Perseverance, Leadership, Commitment are all traits you need to become an athlete, yes when I say athlete the first thing that comes to mind is someone being athletic someone who can play sports with the best of them. Being an Athlete is great to everyone including me. People love to make that game winning shot or catching that huge touchdown pass or scoring that game winning goal as the buzzer sounds off. In our society today there have been many instances that cardiac arrests during a physical activity have occurred. A cardiac arrest is the cessation of normal circulation of the blood due to failure of the heart to contract effectively. The most recent ones were professional soccer players Fabrice Muamba and Piermario Morosini. One survived one did not. Piermario Morisini was a player who played for Livorno football club a team in Italy and collapsed immediately and was dead by the time he got to the hospital. Fabrice Muamba is a terrific soccer player who plays for the England National team at the youth level and known for his terrific ability to remain energetic at all times and known for his huge amount of stamina one of his coaches claimed he had a heart of a lion, yet Fabrice still managed to have a cardiac arrest and was named dead for 70 minutes but later on was revived and his now completely healthy, he is one of the rare incidents in which the victim had survived Fabrice Muamba now is known as a miracle. The most tragic incident was Michigan high school basketball star Wes Leonard whose heart stopped immediately after he sunk the game winning basket imagine all of that excitement immediately turning into sadness.
