Cardio Respiratory Fitness Training
There are many benefits of cardio-respiratory fitness training. It can reduce the risk of heart disease, lung cancer, type 2 diabetes, stroke, and other diseases., blood distribution within the muscle increases during exercise thus more oxygen is available to the muscles and more carbon dioxide can be removed. Ventilation also increases further if the intensity of the exercise increases, if the intensity surpasses the aerobic capacity energy will be obtained anaerobically which results in a build up of lactic acid and can increase in blood acidity.
The exchange of gases in the lungs increases as the intensity increases. The boost in circulating blood flow results in a greater intake of air whilst uptake of the oxygen in the working muscles
