Career Appendectomy

I am an artist and a book lover who wants to pursue in the medical field. I love to do realistic drawings and read fantasy fiction books. I also like to collect house plants and volunteer at my local hospital. I am the oldest of my siblings and the first generation in my family to attend college. I have one sister who is six years old and two brothers who are thirteen and fifteen years old. Both of my parents are from Mexico, which is where I spent my summer vacation. During my travel in Mexico, I got to job shadow my uncle who is a surgeon. I was able to watch him do an appendectomy, which was very interesting.
Nursing is a field that interests me, especially emergency care and dermatology. Entering the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program
