Professional Career Action Plan The professional career action plan gives in details my careers goals. This action plan will give an insight in to the professional strength and weakness, the health care organization to work at, and the knowledge gaps that exist, and professional resume. This paper will focus on professional career goals, the healthcare career plan to have in the health care environment, skills currently have as a health care administrator, and skills that need to be changed or alter. I will state a plan that will help me ultimately achieved these professional careers goals, as well, give an insight on the professional organization that can help me to achieve these goals. Lastly, I will give a perception on the benefits the career action plan outlines provides.
Professional Goals After assessing my professional goals it became clear that working in health care management t in any health care facility is my career goal. My health care facility preferences is within a hospital or a private health care office. By obtaining experience in the health care field it will allow me to attain my ultimate career goal. Becoming a health care administrator requires many step to reach my goal of a position in the health care field. My first step is to continue my education in University of Phoenix towards my master’s degree. While I continue working to enhance my education it is vital to continue peruse to obtain experience in the health care field. This can be accomplished by networking, job search, volunteering, an internship, or show shadowing. Another great source is The American College of Healthcare Executives offers an opportunity of meeting individuals and sharing information.
