Career Option Paper

My personality type on the Myers-Briggs results were ISFP, The letters stands for Introverted, Sensing, Feeling and Perceiving. The meaning are, Introverted is a person characterized by concern primarily with his or her own thoughts and feelings (opposed to extrovert). Sensing is a feeling or perception produced through the organs of touch, taste, etc., or resulting from a particular condition of some part of the body: to have a sense of cold. Feeling is physical sensation not connected with sight, hearing, taste, or smell. And Perceiving to become aware of, know, or identify by means of the senses. My characteristics are quiet, serious, sensitive and kind. Do not like conflict, and not likely to do things which may generate conflict. Loyal and faithful. Extremely well-developed senses, and aesthetic appreciation for beauty. Not interested in leading or controlling others. The career, I would like to pursue is Business Management, and it is a little different to what Myers-Briggs results indicated, on their possible careers path that I could achieve on were, Social Worker / Counselor, Child Care and Veterinarian. Yes I think this careers are very different to what I have in mind, because Business Management has to do a lot with managing a business and Human Resources is something close to what I’m looking for. Overall how I feel about the results of Myers-Briggs personality is something good and bad I didn’t know about my personality. This will help me overcome some attitude and personality issues I have ,so I could have better people skills, because I’m a very shy person and don’t like to be around big crowds.
