Executive Assistants and Administrative Assistants have many similar duties. They typically work in an office environment which is something I love. Nowadays, executive and administrative assistants require more education than they did many years ago. Many people may find that executive and administrative assistants just sit in a desk and do nothing but in reality they have a lot of duties to accomplish. I’ve always found fascinating the idea of working in an office environment; being able to work with people who really appreciate your work. People who depend on you in order to get their job done but in some circumstances you also depend on them in order to get your job done. I have always loved the idea of working with a computer and working with different computer software and meeting very important people from all over the world. With this career, I will have a salary and because I will know how much money I will be making with every paycheck, I will be able to reach my financial goals faster and more easily. I know that with my current job I am developing the skills and experience and will help me in the future. I know that I will enjoy coming to work every day because I love being able to communicate with different people. I know that with this career I will have certain times (hours) per week, so I know that I will have plenty of time to spend with my family and friends. I know that I will be able to manage my own money. Executive and administrative assistants have many duties that they have to accomplish.
