To get this job I would have earn at least a bachelor’s degree in college for science in biology, chemistry, agriculture, or physics. Some good colleges for jobs like this are North Western University, Berkeley, and Cornell University. You should be expected to be good at analyzing, researching, interpreting, investigating, and learning of strategies. Also, you have to be skilled at least on a medium level in reading, math, science, listening, writing, and monitoring.
The environment and surroundings of this career has many different scenes. Plant scientists work in both outdoor and indoor areas. When they work outdoors, they usually are gardening or observing the plants and soil. As for being indoors, plant scientists are usually in the lab researching or experimenting. And the right clothing to wear are putting a lab coat over some decent clothing like a T-shirt and jeans, and wearing proper gear like goggles and gloves. I chose to follow this career because I think it is fun and interesting. It also will probably make me love my job.
