In the field of Aerospace Engineering there are many different Career types you can pursue including Spacecraft Engineering. Spacecraft Engineering deals with the manufacturing of spacecraft including the design, development, construction, testing, and the operation of spacecraft that are used to complete certain missions and objectives in outer space and earth's atmosphere. I am interested in Spacecraft engineering as it is a very interesting career that requires specific education with different school and training options, has many different job responsibilities, and has many specializations that are expressed in the following paragraphs.
The Career of Spacecraft Engineering requires a certain education to work with spacecraft and numerous extra training options are offered. One of the most important requirements is obtaining a Aerospace Engineering Degree. An Aerospace Engineering Degree can take at least four years …show more content…
Spacecraft engineers direct and coordinate the design, manufacture, and testing of aircraft and aerospace products. Assess proposals for projects to determine if they are technically and financially feasible. Determine if proposed projects will result in safe aircraft and parts. Evaluate designs to see that the products meet engineering principles, customer requirements, and environmental challenges. Develop acceptance criteria for design methods, quality standards, sustainment after delivery, and completion dates. Ensure that projects meet quality standards. Inspect malfunctioning or damaged products to identify sources of problems and possible solutions. An Aerospace Engineer has many job responsibilities that contribute to the creation and innovation of Aircraft and Spacecraft to help better the lives of people and to help complete missions and objectives that improve our understanding of Aerospace and space
