My top motivator was power and influence with a score of 12.
Naturally I assume a role as a person who likes to take initiative and start the project. I always come up with two or three ideas when doing a group project or assignment. My decision is not always chosen but I make sure to offer some idea to the group. I have held many leadership roles throughout my college career within my social organization. I have had to delegate roles to others at times, allowing them to grow and generate new ideas. The things to be aware of with this being my highest motivator is it can be perceived as impatient for advancement and arrogant at times. Security was my second highest motivator with a score of 10. My third highest score was the motivation to have an intellectual challenge with a 9. I assumed this would be my second highest score, I am always looking for a complex
challenge.
My top two skills and their descriptions will help me realize my strengths, so I can utilize them in the workforce. My highest Interpersonal effectiveness skill was Comfort with differences in the 85th percentile. I am very comfortable in relating to people from many different backgrounds and cultures. I enjoy hearing others experiences and views on cultures and religions. My second being Gaining trust in the 73rd percentile. My top Power and influence skill was Influence in the 88th percentile. I find myself influences others when I am working by my motivation to see the goal finish out. The second highest being Political skill in the 83rd percentile. The highest rated skill in the Analysis and strategic decision making was Flexibility with a score in the 88th percentile. This will allow me to adapt easily in new situations, allowing me to work well with others or maybe I may be asked to move for a career. The second highest rating was Quick thinking in the 87th percentile. The final category of skills were Bringing management structure. With my highest being Action oriented my score in the 90th percentile. My second highest rated was Multiple focus in the 70th percentile, which I see often in my life with juggling school, work, Greek life, campus organizations, tutoring and free time.
The careers I matched very high with that were already on my interest level are; management of new product development, project management, real estate finance, sales management, research and development management, management consulting and law. I agree with many of those jobs possibly being one I could see myself doing. I can now put a higher weight percentage on the career paths I was highly interested in that popped up on my interests. The careers that I have yet to explore, that were very high are; business development and sales, management in science and engineering, and information systems management. The career paths I have yet to consider have opened a new door for me to research and analyze a possible future in.
