Caregiver Persuasive Essay
If you have ever flown on an airplane you are familiar with the friendly voice of the crew giving instructions on what to do in the case of an emergency. Providing an environment of hope and caring is essential and needed by all children “Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward” Psalms 127:3 (New King James Version). Our children our blessings from God, and He commands us to provide our children with love, spirituality, caring, and to nurture regardless of their abilities. Children with special needs require proactive parents, parents who continually strive to provide opportunities for their children. As professionals we must reach all parents and caregivers and provide them opportunities for education for not just their children, for the parents and caregivers as well. During this process it is imperative to have open lines of communication of teachers and professionals “The bond between parents and professionals (e.g., teachers, speech therapists, physical therapists) can be critical to the child’s development” (Hallahan, Kauffman, & Pullen, 2015, p. 75). Education, communication, and collaboration is essential, and through this collaboration our children and our children’s children can live successful productive…

One of the main roles a carer has is being a friend, someone that the individual can talk to, being understanding towards those who find it hard to express their feelings but also putting themselves in the individual’s perspective and understanding how they must feel. It is important that carers have a lot of patience and be a compassionate person. People who suffer with dementia find it challenging to do every day activities; everybody suffers differently as there are different stages of dementia. It is important to treat every individual to their specific needs as some are more able than others. Being friendly and having time to sit down and talk to an individual can mean a lot to them, by talking to them about their past and their experiences…

Do you ever find it hard to figure out where they are hiring ? or finding a job that suits your needs? if you answered “yes” to either of these questions, there is a skill called “networking”. So, you must now be asking yourself what is networking? As it states in a website called definitions.net, networking means “To take steps to make and cultivate the acquaintance of people who can be helpful to oneself, especially in finding new employment, advancing to a higher position in one's occupation, or exchanging information.” (GCIDE,5). This skill can be a very easy way to find a job, networking can be done either by face to face, gatherings, or contact methods such as email, phone, social and/or business networking websites. The gatherings can take place at a bar, restaurant, club or even the library. This is not a way to meet a new friend or a mate. People will give you their numbers to be in contact for business purposes only! The moment you try to get in contact with someone emotionally, there is no returning back. You will not be allowed to socialize or be a part of the networking system again. In the last few days, I’ve tried to network with my classmates from…

“How would you feel if you spent your entire childhood being shipped from one foster home to another?” Many kids get sent from home to another all the time in foster care some kids will have lived up to 10 different homes before being adopted. Lots of kids get put into foster care to never be adopted and then have no family. My topic is controversial because people have different views on how the foster care system should be ran. Although many people think the foster care program is fine as it is, more control is needed over how foster parents handle things, because 13% of all foster kids run away at least once, Most kids in foster care are victims of some sort of child abuse, and kids wait a long time to be adopted.…
