Thus, the “doing what’s right” versus “doing what’s wrong” theme. Chance chooses to do what is wrong, by running the weird packages for quick money. He knows that it is wrong but because he lives in poverty, quick money is understandable. Good versus evil is a theme in many books. In the book, I see why Chance chose the decisions that he does I would've probably did the same if I was in his same situation. Every one in society makes decisions that will benefit them in their current situation. Rising Actions Melissa a girl from school becomes suspicious. She is determined that she is going to figure out what he's doing . Rising Actions New packages start to arrive. These are more suspicious and Chance needs to know what they are. Rising Actions Melissa has been spying on Chance and learns that he is smuggling drugs. She threatens to report him to the police but then learns that he lives in poverty and his dad is alcoholic and needs to support his family. Rising Action after some research Chance believes that the new packages contain explosives and that they are for terrorists who want to blow up something in Seattle. Climax Chance knows that the packages are explosives and leaves school early so his father and him can open one. While Chance is at the police office the terrorists take over the boat while his father is still on it. Falling Action Chance goes to find help so the terrorists don’t sail into a large populated area and blow it up. Resolution Chances dad is a hero he stops the terrorists from sailing into any high populated areas he puts his own life at risk he ends up dying to save many peoples lives. My General Impression it was a good novel fast passed I didn’t want to put the book down. Did I like the book I loved the book I would recommend this book to everyone in my class. This
