Carla's Growth As Medical Assistant Summary
Summary of Carla’s growth as medical assistant. Carla graduated as medical assistant a year age and got a job in one of the small company her work. Carla was working so hard in the company until when the company decide to change their operating system which Carla is questing about the change. Due to her way of life she wants to continue with the environment she used to. Maybe she thinks that learn new thing might affect her. She former classmate who work nearby medical practice told her that they have open in their company and they are not switching to EMRS. In my opinion, it will be better for Carla to stay and learn new skill and do what will help to prepare for the change.
Carla decided to stick on her job since a year ego. Switching to electronic medical record is very challenging but benefit is obvious. Although Carla was nervous over the learning new skill, but at the end she was able to sail the training even help the doctor and other coworker to complete their own. After the investigation, the company fired the agent. The director of the company and her co-work congratulated her for protecting the reputation of the company. Carla received special assignment as a new interdisciplinary team and a pay raise which she knows if it has anything to do with the report, all she co-worker s was congratulating her. During the first team meeting which everybody has different opinion and could not expected Doctors and Nurses to agree in everything serval people want to talk the same time. Carla was so worry about the thing because she knows that her depend on team work. If I were Carla I will take the leadership of the team because I notice that some of people did not notice the problem of inorganized team meeting.
