An Annotated Bibliography
Upon going to the Frost Museum, the entire Celestial Traveler collection by Carlos Estevez stood out to me, in particular the work entitled ‘Self-Confrontation’. The art piece made me think of Michael Jackson’s ‘Man in the Mirror’. In order for us to be better people, I feel that it is important for us to do some self infliction and aim to make peace with ourselves so that we can become better people. In this research, I posed the question ‘What is the background of the art piece?’ My research was completed within five days.

This article provided information about the art exhibition at the Frost Museum, it is written for art connoisseurs or museum goers. Through the collection of pieces entitled ‘Celestial Traveler’, which mocks the name of one of Estevez’s actual art pieces, Estevez attempts to show people’s connection to the spiritual world, it portrays the artists’ spiritual and physical journey. This article is valuable in that it offers the basis of the set of art pieces displayed under the ‘Celestial Traveler’ theme.
