LeBron James or Carmelo Anthony
LeBron James versus Carmelo Anthony is a very tough matchup and it is hard to pick the best one. They both are great players, but my opinion is LeBron James and there are many reasons why. They both came in the NBA in 2003. They both played twelve NBA seasons. Their career stats are totally different, but some maybe the same. They come from two different places. Carmelo is older than LeBron by exactly seven months and one day. LeBron grew up in Akron, Ohio, while Carmelo grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, but later in life he moved to Virginia. LeBron James has better career stats than Carmelo Anthony.

Carmelo Anthony is also a great player.
He was raised in Baltimore, Maryland, where he tried out for his high school team when he was a freshman but got cut from the team. That is when Carmelo moved to Virginia to go to a private academy school. His senior year he committed to Syracuse University where he would continue his basketball career. He brought Syracuse University its first national championship in 2003. He led all scorers that game with twenty points and ten rebounds. He decided he was going to go pro after his freshman year. During his rookie season he made the All-Rookie team and also averaged twenty-one points and six rebounds per game. He also tied an NBA record by scoring 33 points in a single quarter. He has no NBA championships, had 10 playoff appearances, and played in 7 all-star games. He has some honors and awards. He has no MVP award, no Finals MVP award, no All-NBA First Team honors, and 6 All-NBA Second Team, no All-Defensive First Team honors, no All-Defensive Second Team honors, 1 Scoring Leader award, and no Rookie of the Year award. His career averages are; 25.2 PPG (points), 6.5 RPG (rebounds), 3.1 APG (assists), 1.1 SPG (steals), and 0.5 BPG (blocks). His total stats are: 19,997 points, 5,179 rebounds, 2,432 assists, 871 steals, 382 blocks, and 792 total games. Looking at the stats by category, LeBron James is averaging more in every stat than Carmelo Anthony. I’m sticking with my opinion. These stats are totally different from each other. They are different in a lot of categories.
