Detective Chrono takes Case Number 33: Hotel De Los Santos. His partner, detective Echo, will not be going with him. “Chrono! I’ll catch up with you, I have to go to my sister’s wedding.”, “Okay, I’ll go on ahead then.” Chrono replies.
Chrono drives to the Hotel De Los Santos, and knocks on the front door three times, “Knock” “Knock” “Knock” No response. Chrono opens the door slowly, it creaking every inch of the way, and finds a man dead on floor C, room 333, with a gunshot through the stomach. Chrono takes note of this, writing in his notepad. He opens the door slowly, it creaking every inch of the way, and finds Chrono dead on the ground, with a bullet wound in his abdomen. Echo is confused as to how Chrono could have died, with his perceptive reasoning, he could’ve found who the killer was in an instant. Suddenly, two workers arrive, and Echo questions them. Chrono has been watching over Echo this whole time, trying to figure out how he took his own life. Then, he realizes that there aren’t two workers there. They are just in Echo’s head. In that moment, it hit him. The two workers were just voices in his head, and when he shot the first worker, he shot himself. Chrono also noticed how he lost the two workers from his mind, and Echo obtained them in his place. The workers must have been personalities, or voices, that the Hotel curses you with. He yells to Echo, “Don’t shoot them, just burn the house down!” Sadly, Echo can’t hear him, and will inevitably die in the same way that Chrono did. Chrono suddenly notices that Echo’s handgun is missing, meaning that Echo will not die, for the time being. He wants to escape from where he is to warn Echo by tomorrow, when he will have his handgun. Before he thinks of a way out, he is shot again. This time, he is shot in the head.
