The Aroma Crest Company ensures that all of the strawberries used in making its wine are fresh and natural. The strawberries grew healthy, through the natural way of organic farming. Also, another advantage of organic farming is it reduces the signs of global warming. Since organic farming refrains the utilization of pesticides and artificial fertilizers which contains hazardous chemicals, it prevents the widely spread of CFCs or chlorofluorocarbons, which is the number one cause of global warming. Organic farming also maintains the quality of the soil used in planting, while the usage of artificial fertilizers and pesticides can lead to the alteration of the quality of the soil. The company finds that organic farming is a good way of preserving the beauty of our nature.

I gained different knowledge about organic food along with the benefits of it. Non-organic food contain pesticides and plenty of food additives. 100% Organic is made with none of that it’s made all naturally so for example its made with no food supplements and no pesticides. In the food and recipes feature stories section John Reganold, a professor of soil science at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, states, "If you 're talking about pesticides, the evidence is pretty conclusive. Your chances of getting pesticide residues are much less with organic food.” For example in a regular industrial farm where they plant crops they use pesticides along with food supplements for it to grow faster and for it to taste better. Now in organic farming where they grow crops or raise animals there are no pesticides or food supplements used in to make them grow faster, it was…

Local organic grown foods typically have a lot less or even no pesticides compared to conventional foods. As a last resort, organic farmers may apply certain botanical or other non-synthetic pesticides, such as rotenone and pyrethrins which are both from plants (Parnes). This leads to many great influences to the environment, such as without the use of harmful pesticides, plants are able to reach their full potential and have a higher natural nutrient level. Some people even find that organic foods have a higher potential of tasting much better and lasting longer than conventional foods.…

Every second, 1.5 acres of trees are cut down in a rainforest. That’s equivalent to two football pitches per second. At this rate, the Amazon rainforest will become devoid of life by 2030. Cutting down trees not only damages large habitual areas of the estimated 30 million people who live in the rainforest along with the animals they solely depend on, but affects the environment in many harmful ways. This can be through rapid and violent changes in the climate, an unbalanced ratio of carbon dioxide to oxygen impacting hugely on global warming, damage to the biodiversity of animals and tribes and fatal effects to the soil. Trees that are cut down can be used for a variety of different common purposes including rubber, oil, wax, glue and, more importantly, fuel. However, the list does not stop there. Trees are cut down to gain access to medicinal plants and create vast spaces to mine important ores. Yet possibly the biggest reason trees are cut down is to grow food. Commercial farmers need more land space to cultivate crops to feed our ever growing population as well as local farmers providing food for their family.…

How is organic farming different from conventional farming? Organic Farming applies natural fertilizers such as manure to feed soil and plants. Crops are rotated, and farmers hand weed or mulch, to manage weeds. They give their animals a balanced organic diet and clean housing to minimize disease. Conventional farming uses chemical fertilizers to promote plant growth and herbicides to manage weeds. The farmers give their animals antibiotics and medicines to prevent disease. Some people buy organic food to limit their exposure to these chemicals.…
