Case Competition
ETHICS CASE COMPETITION RULES AND REGULATIONS Background The Scotiabank Ethics in Action Case Competition is intended to give teams of university students an opportunity to develop analyses and prepare presentations that will further their own knowledge of business ethics. The competition will have two core components: a prepared case and a live case. The inclusion of two case formats is intended to highlight different team strengths, and to illustrate the challenges that time pressures present for ethical behaviour.
Eligibility All teams shall be composed of four (4) participants from an accredited university. Each participant must be attending his or her respective institution full-‐time in the 2013-‐2014 academic year. Substitutions of team members are allowed up to one month in advance of the competition dates. Teams may also elect to register one (1) alternate participant for the competition. The alternate may only participate for his/her school in extenuating circumstances and with the approval of the organizers. If the alternate enters the competition as a substitute for any team member, the alternate must participate for the entirety of the event following their entry. Alternates may not contribute
