Tea Collection uses geographic data-mapping software to be able to sell their products all over the country. This software finds the areas in the US where there is not a lot of children’s clothing sellings and they can expect to build up their company in this area because the area is not oversaturated with children’s clothing. So, geographic data-mapping software used to find the best place to build up a new Tea Collection store and help the company grow by:
Optimizing its employees by sending them to those zip codes specified by the software where there is high sales probability. The company needs a system which allows some steps of the processes to be performed automatically without people doing it manually; because the dependence on people slows down the process. For that reason the company spend every year 1% of its profits on IT investments, as Leigh Rawdon said in the video case "The business wouldn't be possible without technology." Firstly, I suggest to invest money in training for the people who works on integrating the systems.
Also, as Rawdon states that the Tea Collection couldn’t survive without technologies however this company only invests 1% of profits on IT. I suggest to invest more money in technologies to implements a system that is fully integrated into one system which is simpler and more clear. This will reduce dependency on people and therefore in less time and less mistakes.
I think the Tea Collection needs to improve their IT performance to have better integration with different systems. When the company fix this problem and be more accessible online, I think it will make more profits and be more
