In preparing the case study report, students must follow the following format, ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
A group of 4 to 5 students.
Review a case study that will be given in week 7.
The case study report should not be more than 10 pages.
Double spacing, Tahoma, Font Size: 12pt.
BACKGROUND OF THE CASE STUDY
Summarize the case study using your own words.
Describe the entrepreneurial venture highlighted within the case study.
ISSUES/PROBLEMS OF THE CASE STUDY
List down and discuss at least three MAJOR problems/issues highlighted within the case study.
Provide solution/s for each problem or issue highlighted within the case study.
EVALUATION OF THE ENTREPRENEURIAL OPPORTUNITY
As an entrepreneur, should you pursue this entrepreneurial opportunity? Yes/No.
Provide reasons for your answer.
If ‘Yes’, please provide the implementation strategy, step by step covering both short term and long-term strategies.
SUBMISSION DUE DATE
Due in Week 9 for Case study 1, Week 10 for Case study 2, Week 11 for Case study 3 and Week 12 for Case study 4.
Please submit the report during your class time.
CASE STUDY/GROUP PRESENTATIONS (10%)
You are given 30 minutes to present the case study. This presentation starts in week 10 onwards.
Formal attire.
Should involve everyone to participate
Should encourage questions from the floor.
Be creative and make your presentation look interesting.
Hardcopy of your PowerPoint presentation should be handed over beforehand to the lecturer during the presentation (failure to do so will result in your mark to be deducted).
The presenter should be well-versed with the topic and should not be too dependent on the PowerPoint slides.
All presentations should be conducted in English.
