Case Study Boeing Dreamlifter
Boeing Dreamlifter is powered by four Pratt & Whitney PW400 engines. Basic structure of the engine model is based on the 3d model that was introduced during the course. However, in order to match the actual design of the Pratt & Whitney engine used on the Dreamlifter, several modifications were made to the initial design. First, the number of blades on the turbofan was increased to make the appearance realistic. Moreover, a cone cap was added to the middle of the turbo fan. Similarly, an outer cover was added to mimic the outer cover of the Pratt & Whitney engine. Furthermore, careful attention was paid to material and colors to match the appearance of the Pratt & Whitney PW400 engines.
