The girls were charged with the crime of rioting, declaring them ward of the state under investigation. All simply because they resembled the identity of a pachuca women.…

Trials against Rios and Ulloa began at a time when a series of other police brutal actions emerged gaining public interest. Roybal produced yet other evidence linking the police department in misconduct, but Parker termed them as an injustice to the department (Escobar, 187).Trials that took place in 1952 only saw the conviction of five officers and another officer was jailed for not more than twelve months (Escobar, 192). Parker and the judges never bothered to condemn the act where the officers involved in perjury and this is clear evidence shown of how much the city government would fight to keep the Los Angeles police force clean (Escobar, 192). The officers claimed to have unclear memory during the hearing after which they are guilty when the investigations were done afresh as judge Call directed (Escobar,…

It was a cold October night when I first heard of Fortunato’s case, I was very amused at the thought of someone doing something so unhuman to a person. I guess some people can’t control their actions, but then again those people belong in a mental institution. This case in particular was very peculiar because it had gone five years without being solved. It was about a week ago when our department heard about this case, it wasn’t long before the case landed on my hands. I am after all the best detective in this state something to be proud of course. Going out to the other side of the world to solve a case was something I had never done before but this case was overdue and someone had to do something to the aggressor in order to obtain justice.…

Illegal immigrants have always been a great issue for many countries in the world. The US is one of those countries that put a lot of effort to prevent illegal entry of those immigrants. There were nearly one million illegal immigrants that entered the US in 2010. To reduce that great number, the government and in particular the border patrol agents have already put lots of exertion to the action. Working in the rank of the border patrol is not an easy job. It is a stressful job that often gets the agents to end their life. In January, 2010 Rich Matthews and Alicia A. Caldwell the two associate press video journalist and writer wrote an article named “Border Patrol sees spike in suicides” to tackle the issues why the rate of border patrol officers suicide is so high in Texas. Having a highly dangerous job that produces an enormous amount of stresses is really causing the border patrol officers to kill themselves.…
