This case is about Dr Melissa Walker, she is a top-level orthopaedic surgeon who has either studied or worked almost all of her life. While on holiday in Santa Fe she met the love of her life, Michael Langford. He worked for a publishing company as editor in chief. They got married within 6 months after they met.
After a few years after they were married Michael wants to have children since neither he nor Melissa has children of their own. The only problem was Melissa’s age; even though she had not gone through menopause yet and was a health, person she knew the risks. The couple decided to explore new fertility technologies. One of the options available for older couples was fertilising a younger persons with the male’s sperm eggs and planting the embryos into the female’s uterus.

I also feel that Sarah’s doctors should’ve suggested this option to the Health and Human Services before they suggested it to Sarah’s parents because they now gave Sarah’s parents hope in the one place hope should not be given because these doctors cannot be 100% sure that the transplant or any transplant will be successful but because they told the parents they are confident they encouraged the parents to take on Health and Human Services.
There are no other options available for Sarah and a transplant is her only means of survival so it is understandable that her parents will do anything for her to have a lung transplant but they shouldn’t have too much hope as things stand now Sarah is not going to survive this so instead of petitioning and such they should be with their daughter in her last moments and comfort
