Case Study: Dvider LLC
dVider LLC first need to analyze the leading capacity where capacity should be increased to meet the expected growth in demand. This includes determining the optimal level where production capabilities meet demand, maximum design service capacity at present and the additional investment needed to fulfill the growing demand and how fast the company fulfills the production requirements. In addition, it should determine the efficiency of its processing capacity as compared to offers provided by offshore or domestic manufacturers.
Currently, the company has three part-time employees, with freelance graphic designers and limited space. The required capacity needs include additional equipment, space, and employee skills. Sticker production is highly dependent on intensive labor work.

Such step contributed to the overall quality of dVider stickers but make the production process expensive.
Management may consider expanding capacity in-house if the operating costs of production, operating performance, a variety of production, and delivery of service and the unit cost of production is better off than the one offered by offshore
