Case Study Indiana Pacers
Indiana Pacers got the better of the visiting short-handed New Orleans Pelicans with a92-84 victory at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Thursday night.
Rookie starting forward Myles Turner finished the game with a spectacular double-double game performance of game-high 24 points and career-high 16 rebounds to lead the Pacers to a crucial win and strengthened their hold to a playoff spot in the tight Eastern Conference.
"I was really trying to get 20 points and 20 rebounds," Turner, who went 11 for 17 from the field and had three big blocked shots during the game, said. "The big thing for us tonight was that we knew they were short-handed but, because of that, we also knew we had to match their intensity and get this win."
